About

We build in public because the audience we want values it.

CultureTech is a Chilean boutique engineering studio in formation. No active paying clients yet. Strong individual track record, in-house products at various maturity, and a working pattern: publish the process, not only the result.

Manifesto

Linear did it. Cal.com did it. Vercel when it was Zeit did it. Sentry did it. The pattern works for a young technical boutique because the target audience — CTOs, VPs Engineering, CISOs at regulated companies — values authentic builders over polished consultancies with borrowed logos.

Saying "trusted by Fortune 500" without a case is factually false. And it gets detected fast. The audience that filters that out is the audience we want.

Who's behind it

CharlyFest — founder, architect, sole contributor so far. 17+ years on platform engineering. Principal SRE at a multinational regulated bank (we don't name the employer to avoid conflict of interest).

The open source portfolio lives in the github.com/CultureTechCL organization.

How we approach the business

  • Spec Driven Design — ADRs and SPECs before code. Always.
  • Reusable products per vertical, not one-shot projects.
  • Opinionated stack in Rust, Elixir, Go and Astro — chosen for consequences, not fashion.
  • Transparent pricing when it exists, no enterprise sales theater.
