Products as SaaS
CultureTech lab products accessible as commercial SaaS — Aether Telemetry, Thoth (DTE), Atenea (knowledge plane), Themis (AIOps). Each one with maturity declared explicitly, no empty promises.
The pain
You probably landed on this page because one of these describes you:
- You’re evaluating semantic observability for microservices and can’t find something that combines traces, metrics and logs with real contractual context, not just technical labels.
- Your Chilean organization needs to issue Electronic Tax Documents (DTE) to the SII but your stack is in Rust/Go/Elixir and existing vendors only offer .NET or Java integrations.
- You have AI agents in different contexts (Slack, Notion, code, documentation) and the knowledge base each one consults is inconsistent. You need a central “knowledge plane” agents query with coherence.
- You operate a multi-cluster SRE platform and need AIOps agents with explicit FSM that execute complex runbooks without losing traceability of each decision.
These are problems CultureTech encountered first in its own projects and built proprietary tooling for. The Productized service makes them accessible to other organizations facing the same problem, without having to build the tooling from scratch.
What CultureTech prepares
Four lab products, each one with real maturity declared on its detail page. The difference vs typical SaaS: each product explicitly declares what’s real and what’s aspirational, because ADR-0013 forbids inventing traction.
- Aether Telemetry — semantic observability with eBPF + WASM + SPIFFE/SPIRE. Feature freeze v1.0 with 546 tests. Most mature product in the portfolio, preparing for paid pilot in regulated sectors.
- Thoth — headless Electronic Tax Document engine for Chilean SII. In certification process (estimated Q4 2026). Historic blocker for fintech, ecommerce and marketplaces needing to issue DTE without depending on a legacy vendor that doesn’t integrate with modern stacks.
- Atenea — semantic memory and cognitive control plane for the portfolio. In design. Differentiator for organizations where multiple AI agents must share coherent context.
- Themis — multi-domain AIOps for SRE. Agents with explicit FSM, not agents with “free reasoning”. Complete design, 19 published ADRs. Aimed at SRE teams that exhausted what deterministic automation can give.
Each product accessed via:
- Self-hosted open core — when the code is public-beta or above, you deploy it in your infra. CultureTech maintains updates + security. Applies to Aether in its first commercial phase.
- Multi-tenant SaaS — hosted version with SLA, billing via Plutus (when ready). Applies as the product matures.
- Embedded — deep integration into the client’s stack, later phase.
Who it’s for
- Organizations that recognize building tooling for problems already solved elsewhere isn’t a good use of their platform team. If the problem is already addressed by CultureTech, integrating is faster than building.
- Sectors where declared maturity matters. In banking, healthcare, GovTech, space — a vendor saying “production-ready” when they’re in private-beta is real risk. We say what state each thing is in, without makeup.
- Technical teams that value visible architecture. Each product’s ADRs are public. If your team will integrate something, they can read why it was designed that way.
What it’s not
- Mass-market product platform. We’re not going to compete with Datadog, New Relic, AWS GuardDuty. Each portfolio product attacks a specific niche where differentiation comes from vertical focus (Thoth/Chile) or technical focus (Aether/eBPF+WASM+SPIFFE).
- Plugin marketplace. We don’t have an app store. Each product is designed with clean APIs for integration, but isn’t an open ecosystem.
- Indefinite free tier. Pricing models will be explicit when each product enters commercial phase. No “freemium with asterisks.”
How it crosses the portfolio
These products are also the technical lever for the other service practices:
- In Platform Engineering, Aether and Themis accelerate the observability + AIOps phase.
- In Identity & Trust, Aether instruments the trust plane.
- In AI-Native Engineering, Aether captures context, Themis operates agent-of-agents cycles.
That is: hiring CultureTech for a typical FDE service typically includes use of one or more lab products, at no additional cost during the engagement. When the engagement closes, the client decides whether to continue with licensing or migrate to an alternative.
When it activates
Each product activates per its own roadmap (see detail on each page). Aether is closest to first paid client; Thoth depends on SII certification estimated Q4 2026; Atenea and Themis follow the general portfolio roadmap.
The process: initial conversation about the specific product of interest (no cost) → technical demo with your use case → pilot engagement if applicable → commercial licensing when both product and client are ready.
